Many of us inherited apartments from our grandparents, old furniture, crystal vases and woolen carpets. In Soviet times, carpets were a sign of a well-fed life - prosperity in the house, so they were taken care of, hung on the walls.

Time does not stand still, everything changes, including the idea of ​​wealth in the house, as well as the interior. Now it is not at all fashionable to hang the walls with carpets, which is probably why photos of girls against the background of grandmother's carpets caused a lot of ridicule on social networks. While those carpets weren't that bad when you look at it, unlike most modern carpets, they were made from natural wool.
